Some young people start down the wrong path when they are in high school. They lie to their parents. They cheat on a test at school. They go to a party and try drugs. They shoplift. And, before long they become lost. Adrift in the oceans of life like a ship without a rudder.

I have been there, and I know how scary it can be. Most people don’t know what to do, or where to start. They feel like nobody can help and that no one really understands. It can be easy to just give up. Prison is full of talented young men and women who have forsaken their potential.

I have been there, so I know how it feels to be lost – and I know what it takes to get back.
